I don't think anything is going to last very long if you use the effect much. I'm trying to think of something though...

Despoiling the An1x

2001-12-20 by tuskermusic

Fellas I like the An1x ribbon, but I dont get enough tactile
feedback. I am considering adding four "points" along the ribbon to
help me out. Two of the points would be to the left of the center and
two to the right.

I have considered dropping paint (too permanent and ugly), sticking
little bits of paper (too easy to move) etc.

I am wondering if anyone has ideas.

Thx,

Jerry

How about Elmer's Glue? Wood glue dries almost transparent, it only
semi-bonds to plastic, and it leaves no permanent marks or crazing when
removed.

Also, I would suggest adding eight points, centered above and below the
middle, so that you don't wear them off every month or so:

(Lousy ASCII drawing follows)

It would be best to lay something over the entire strip. Get some slicker
vinyl at a fabric shop and cut a strip out that is the side of the ribbon.
Glue or attached whatever you want to the vinyl. Other materials could be
used obviously.
