Why would you name it Annie? It's obviously male. How many females do you know with a knob? > -----Original Message----- > From: alciere@... AN1X-ers, Being a big Hawkwind fan but stuck in the states, was enjoying some pictures of a recent gig at the Royal Festival Hall. Lo and behold, I spotted Tim Blake (Gong, HW, and solo fame) playing an AN1X. Looks like it is also his primary controller (as it is with me!) http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~hwind/gigs/rfh/RFH_07.htm for the specific pic http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~hwind/gigs/rfh/RFH_thumbs.htm for all the RFH pics If you don't know about these guys, you should check them out. They play space rock, which is straight ahead rock with lots of synth lines and sound effects, interspersed with spacey pieces. Sci Fi themes abound. If anyone's interested, be careful of what you buy. There are a core of albums that represent studio and quality live material, but there is an awful lot of bootleg/compilations of very poor quality (not endorsed by the band). Check out http://www.geocities.com/Area51/6568/discs.html for a good discography. If it isn't listed here, it's probably crap. Dave
