Analogue emulation indeed. My Juno-106 loses patches if it's not plugged in.

Have you ever replaced the backup battery? They're only good for 8-10
years under the best of circumstances, especially on older equipment (more
drain on the battery). I don't think you could find a ten-year-old JUNO-106.
