Thanks Guys,

no Mp3 for me . . . but I've got a problem though. I
need to know if I can switch the aftertouch on the
keyboard to an other level. I use it as a
main-mastercontroller and if I get excited I push the
keys too hard :)) Anyway this f*cks up some of the
stringpatches of my other gear. I noticed some talk
about this problem a few months ago, but I can't
remember what the outcome was.

Hi, welcome to the list!

Yes, the keyboard is capable of aftertouch...(duh..;)
It depends on which patch you use. Try some of the factory-presets. I
don´t remember which one, but some use the aftertouch. You can even
edit how much or less aftertouch-effect you get (and WHAT
happens...). I recommend to take a look into the
manual and on the AN1x-list-site on www.egroups.com for further .pdf
files.

It's too sensitive to control other synths with . . .
in my humble opinion. On the other hand, you can
change your sounds pretty cool with it.

As this is my first keyboard with aftertouch, still
not 100% sure how it works. Is the keyboard supposed
to "give" a bit when ytou press hard?

Well it depends on how the patch your playing is
programed. Sometimes with strings you'll get a volume
change when you engage your aftertouch (I'm not talkin
about velocity). Sometimes the pitch modulates . . .
sometimes nothing happens.

I haven't found any evidence of that. Any comments on
how you guys use this feature out there?
Any patches with aftertouch set up already that anyone
recommends looking at?

you already had answers on that one . . . But I must
say as a masterkeyboard it's pretty tricky. But you
can master it. after a long while.
