Reggie: cubase question

Reggie: cubase question

2001-08-27 by Wilbert Enserink

Hi all, Hi Reggie

I was told that you were into cubase a lot:

I discovered the An1xreal.all cubase song file. This is amazing stuf. Do you people use it a lot? and if so, how do you use it? is a mixermap something you can import into each song.... I know this is more of a cubase/MIDI question but if somebody can comment I would appreciate it.

greetings Wilbert

Hello Wilbert, If you send me the file 'an1xreal.all' I'll have a look
at it and tell you what I know, unfortunately I haven't seen the file so
until then I am guessing.

Are you using an AN1x or a plg AN or an AN200?
Because I suspect from the name of the file that it is just for the
AN1x!!

Personally I don't use mixermaps, I use the Midi track mixer instead
along with the MTM scripts that I wrote for it for use with the PLG AN.

Yes, a mixermap is something that you can import into every song:-)

OK, now I know it's a file for VST 3.xx, it also appears to be quite
lacking in facilities, and it appears to use CC's everywhere (which
isn't necessarily a bad thing!).

Have you tried AN-EDIT? It will give you much more to play with, and it
should be easier to handle than a Mixermap.

HI reggie,

thanks for replying. I tried an1x edit program. This indeed is much more useful. I was just very curious about the .all file.
So thx for the info :-)
