re: drum machines

For an electronic drum machine, it's hard to beat Rebirth. It's cheap and sounds great. Not much good live unless you have a laptop. I've been rehearsing for hours trying to get the Space Animals ready for a concert. I figured out how to set knob 1 so I could turn down the volume on my synth module, and turn up the volume on the AN1X at the same time. It was a pain in the butt and that seems like a basic requirement for a live keyboard.Setting the patch up wasn't difficult, but when set to direct the knob overturned the volume preset. So I set the knob so it would only turn the volume up 63. It still turned the volume up too high. Then I figured out that I need to set the preset volume real low like 40, so that when I turn knob 1 it maxes out at the right volume. Is there any easy way to get all the patches to be the same volume? Rainbow Jimmy http://www.spaceanimals.com http://www.mp3.com/spaceanimals
