Greetings! I'm new to this group and I intend to buy an AN200. So, I went to a store and auditioned one yesterday. However, I did not find the sounds I was looking into the presets. I already have a Yamaha EX7 and an Alesis QS6. I'm interested in producing new school trance with evolving leads. Is it possible to do so with my current setup and an AN200? Any input would be appreciated!

If you can't find what you're looking for amonst the stock sounds you could always program them yourself. There are plent of worthwhile resources to get you started here at the AN1x-list and elsewhere on the web. See the "Detuning" thread as an example... regards, Jon

Are there any example trance songs made exclusively or mostly with the AN1x family on the net? Indeed, I checked the Yamaha website to find out that their demos are not quite convincing to me. Thanks again! Pascal
