Favorite AN1X Sounds

Favorite AN1X Sounds

2001-06-08 by Jerry Aiyathurai

What your favorite AN1X sounds? Also, what types of sounds do you
find the AN1X does very well?

For me, the answers to the questions are different. My favorites to
use are sounds like Floyd 75 and MiniSpace (strong, relatively brassy
monophonic lead sounds) but what I find myself admiring the AN1X for
are the more ethereal sounds (like Tritouch or VS Art). I personally
think that glassy, FMish sounds come out very well on this
instrument. It's a shame, I don't often find uses for those types of
sounds.

What about you?

Cheers,

Jerry

Hey Fellas:

Thought I would resurrect this question and hope for some answers.
Perhaps we will find that we as a community have some favorites. I am
particularly curious to hear the answers of those who have other VA
synths.

Cheers.

Jerry

Re: [AN1x-list] Re: Favorite AN1X Sounds

Just wondering if anyone is interested in exchanging particularly acidy/303/trippy and raw noises for the AN1X, i've got some but I'd love some more, if you feel the same lets exchange those, also I'm looking for a hard but not distorted kick sound which changes pitch over the range of the keyboard.
Finally, if anyone in the Wimbledon/Kingston Area (surrey) is interested in making Acid Techno and Hard Trance send me a mail, maybe we can have a jam sometime.
Cheers,
Tom
P.S.:(you can check out some of my stuff on www.getoutthere.bt.com , under the Name "The Inevitable",use the search function to find the tracks easily.
