The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

I'm from The Netherlands. Bought my AN1x recently. Trying my An1x
i've already some difficulty. Somehow the KNOB PARAMETER GROUP
buttons do not respond. Only SYNC/FM and VCF react. Do i need to
switch some kind of setting do get this going? Or is my second hand
buy a bad one? I managed to program the AN1x using AN1x-edit PC
program.

Do you happen to know whether the teklab mailing list
(http://www.teklab.com/Internet.html) is still going?

Wow, that seems really strange. I was using the Assign Device function in
the Utility menu once and found that changing a knob's continuous controller
number would disable the knob for the internal synth.

Here's some really simple, stupid, yet possibly useful advice: Reboot the
whole thing back to the factory defaults. If the buttons still don't
function, you've got a hardware problem.

I think it is a bad buy.. i never heard of this before.

I had an email on this same subject and I concur with Joel. You've
probably got a bad unit. Call Yamaha Customer Support and arrange for service.
