Hi does anyone know how i can send two midi clock signals to two seperate ports? My Gear: ANx (of course) and a MC505, midiman 4x4 usb. The 505 will not pass on clock signal. Im controlling the gear through a master sequencer (cakewalk 9) In cakewalk there is only one port that you can send a clock signal to. Thanks for any input. Gerry B

That's the stupid'est problem of Cakewalk .. You either have to use something like Hubi driver (shitty way) or use other sequencer - Logic or Cubase ... Also - AFAIK - AMT8 midi interface has a "global port" besides the 1....8 one's which you can use a target for cakewalk's clock then ... But I am not sure if it was AMT8 ? Just out of curiosity, what's wrong with using Hubi? I do agree that it would be a good feature, though I don't need it myself, so I never really noticed it was missing. I use Hubi for all sorts of stuff LIKE this though, without issue. Most midi patch bays have a broadcast port, the Unitor and the Motu both use a broadcast port, e,g On the AMT8 port 9 should be the broadcast port where you send midi clock to. Cheers Grant

How would I do this with Logic? I've been trying to figure out how to send midi clock to multiple devices on Mac Logic Audio Gold for a few days now (including the PLG150-AN). I use an Opcode Studio 4 interface... does this have a global port or broadcast port? I don't have a manual for it - I "acquired" the Studio 4 recently for free so I don't know much about the details of it. Thanks! Mark on 4/2/01 3:53 PM, RayMaxer at digil@... wrote:

I don't know why I didn't think of this before. I found a PDF version of the Studio 4 manual online and it answered all of my questions. There's no need to educate me right now. Thanks for your time anyway. on 4/2/01 8:44 PM, mark c. pipher at mpipher@... wrote:
