Hi Group,

    The "303" style sequencer in the AN1x can seem limited to dance, swing
and waltz times, but did you know that you can make it talk in odd times
like 5/4, 11/8, etc.?

    Listen to Ezekiel's Wheel play:       "Short Shirt - Long Line"

precisely directed by the AN1x controlling the band in 7/8 time from the
sequencer.

    (It's hard to call this a groove, but I can give pointers in programming
the sequencer to delight and annoy in unconventional times.)

AN1x Genetix v0.2 is out!

So what's new?

- New algorythmic flavor. Now it comes in 2 flavours, classic genetix
   and chemical warfare. In the last one you will do genetix over two
   banks of 128 patches row by row instead of 128 genetix over the same two 
sounds.
   Use classic when you know what you want, warfare for total chaos.
- Full bank of 128 patches included.
   Don't forget AN1x Genetix is soundware. It means that if you use it you
   have to release some sounds freely available to the AN1x community.
- Various improvements.
- Changed "Morph Pitch" with default "no" to "Adjust Pitch" with default "yes".
   In fact it is not exactly morphing and the pitch is set to a multiple of 12.

Any similarities between the two products are of course
purely coincidental. It has nearly the same name,
it is based on the same concept but one is a freebie and the other
is the trademark of a guitar pedal system.

That's one can call trademarkers of open doors :))

Now we are waiting for the Digitech AN1x Patches (it is soundware remember?).

Congrats to Charles-Emmanuel for your hard work and effort! I'm 
certain many AN1x users will enjoy Genetix v0.2 - maybe somebody will 
post a file of some Genetix created Voices - hint-hint ;-)

BTW, the older Genetix v0.1a is posted in the Windows directory of 
our Yahoo! Groups Files section - would you like for me to take it 
down and  replace it with v0.2?

I hope *everybody* will post some voices otherwise I had better to keep it 
for myself ;)

Take in mind that it is not yet finished but I had to do something now 
because of
the Digitech incident so you are all welcome to visit my site.
