The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

when i use the export midi file function in an1x edit and then import 
the midi file into cubase vst 5.0 on a midi track the sequence does 
not load properly. you can see that there is a file on the track but 
if you open the file in the key editor there are no notes. is that 
function for exporting the step sequence patern? what am i doing 
wrong?

Exporting the sequence, exports it as a sysex bulk dump! i.e. the feature
provides the data for downloading it to the synth.....NOT for converting it
to MIDI notes for playback in a sequencer!!!!!!!

Hi Elektro_dan

If you want to see the sys-ex datas from your MIDI-FILE,
you must open the sequenzerpart in the List-Editor!
