That depends but I'd venture a guess that the knobs tranmits MIDI CCs identical to the AN1x Mode 1 mapping. So, if you have your assignments made correctly in the Ctrl Matrix of your AN1x there would be no reason the AN1x would not respond - just as it does to MIDI Mixers in Logic or Cubase, etc. But, if you mean does the AN2K act as a remote control for the AN1x I'd guess NO aside from the above... While we're specultating - the description at Yammies web site reads "internal/external MIDI Clock" - I wonder if that means it will transmit MIDI Clock? IMO, that should have been included on the orig AN1x. Also, since this is basically a PLG150-AN "in-a-box" (so to speak) I assume the LFOs still don't synchronize to MIDI Clock. It will be interesting to see & hear more. I expect we'll have an influx of new list members shortly ;-) Guess I should bring my AN1x page up to date soon. Jon

It looks kinda SU200...Groove approved...i guess it features a PLG150AN-"light" inside with a stepsequencer, just meant as a competitor to the Korg Electribes. The QY100 and the DX200 is quite more interesting as well as the new MX20/6 mixing console. Anyhow, just my opinion. Greetings, Tom Finegan

I'd be into the AN-200 as a tone module...if it's compatible with Gary's program then I'll just dump all my bass sounds into it and make it a dedicated bass module and leave my AN1x for pads and leads and stuff. That's alot of money ($500) for a bass module. For less than $700 you can get a Waldorf Micro Q. The SU200 goes for under 400 here in Germany, and i guess the streetprize of the AN/DX200 won´t be more either. But you are right...the Micro Q and the Virus Rack are really cheap...erm...i mean inexpensive...<G> Cheers, Tom Finegan
