The copy & paste thing in AN1xedit doesn't work for me
Can somebody do me a favour and copy scene one to scene two of this
patch
for me?
http://www.onelist.com/files/AN1x-list/AN1xPatches/mango/Hoqi2Zp.an1

It's a patch i sortof created with an1xgenetix by the way :) not a bad
program at all, pretty cool ;) ! (and i want to add some echo (or delay)
on scene2) whatchya think?
could be cool, no? ;)

Intro; Old-Fashioned Analog Strings?

2000-04-15 by Elson Trinidad

Hey fellow Generation-AN1x'ers :)

I'm a "longtime" AN1x'er, having owned one for just about exactly 2 years...
I was on the old AN1x list, the one on Teklab, until it seemed to vanish
from sight...
Anyway, glad to see an AN1x community still alive. It's also neat to find
out that many people are re-discovering our little blue friend; people are
finally coming around to the realization that the AN1x sound better than
the JP8000...Too bad Yamaha discontinued it :(

Anyway,
Does anyone have any patches, or know how to program any old-fashioned
analog string sounds? By old fashioned, I mean old ARP/Solina/Crumar string
sounds...I'm into programming myself, so I don't mind trying, but need to
know what elements (i.e. filter types, etc) need to go into it.

Any of you here into jungle/drum n bass? I'm working on an .an1 bank of
wikkid bass/lead sounds, be patient, I'll post them to the file directory.

Cool man, I have a few lying around in my bank, probably won't release
until I've used them in recordings :)

Hey, you're Skylab2000; I heard of you guys...I'm doing a livePA thing
myself, called e:trinity...Might wanna hit you up for some advice,
especially when it comes to travelling; I have a set coming up in San
Francisco in June and possible shows in Asia next year...The question is my
gear...I have a few pieces that I can easily bring with me (i.e.
Electribes, QY-70) but the bigger gear like my AN1x and sampler (the
extremely overweight ASR-10), not to mention stands and such may be an
issue. Should I rent gear? Or find people with the same or similar gear
there? Or just put the rhythm tracks on CD or minidisc? Any advice would
help. Thanks...
