Steve why dont you buy a copy of Logic if you want to use that program
instead of leeching cracked copies off the net. Im afraid you've come to
the wrong group if you want to boast about using illegal programs. Most of
us struggle to afford the latest software and hardware and we dont respect
people who come along and blatantly flaunt cracks under our noses.

G4 v Mac

2001-01-08 by Steve

This argument will never really be resolved as those who are used to Macs will prefer Them, and those used to PCs likewise...
I'm happy with my old P3 PC 500 running a cracked version of Logic Platinum and all sorts of windows software and rarely have a problem... I can run 30 odd tracks of stereo audio + midi and softsynths, and my AN1x Of course... pefectly adequate for me at the moment.
I have used Macs, and they are great too, but I'm used to windows and dont really see an advantage in switching and having to learn a new OS and the Mac way of doing things...

This is for the "for what it's worth category".

Ralph, I agree. But, let's please not get into a software ethics debate. If you are using cracked software, I don't really need to know it's cracked, do I? Let's all just please be reasonable about this touchy subject...(thanks mom, right? <g>)

On the other hand, I know of several people who are using the cracked version of Cubase, even though they actually OWN the software, but don't want to deal with the dongle. There are exceptions to everything, right? I don't know what Steve's original intentions are, but maybe they are in this vein.

Whatever,
Blades
