The AN1x manual helps a lot, and for bigger books try www.musicbooksplus.com

Hiya,

I've just purchased a an1x keyboard. I have never played a keyboard
before but have enjoyed creating music using computer software like
ACID, Ejay etc. Now I want to expand this experience by creating my
own sounds. trouble is I have no idea where to start! does anyone
know of/or recommend any books, tutorials or can help in any way?

many thanks

Tim

Welcome to the list. Hope you enjoy your 'new' AN1x. The Intermusic
web site recently ran a decent series of intro articles on Synth
Programming. You'll find the articles on the Intermusic Tutorials
page
http://www.intermusic.com/channelarticlehome.asp?Channel=KBD&FeatureTy
pe=TUT Another good web site to visit is http://www.synthfool.com/
where you'll find relevant info on different types of synthesis.

As already mention in this thread - don't overlook the AN1x manual
and don't hesitate to adjust the knobs and see how it affects the
sound. There are some decent 'starter' tutorials in latter section of
the Reference Guide you should walk through.

Good luck.

Translation: It's OK, it can happen to even the best. or something
like that, I am not from Holland.

Please don't write in other languages, some people don't understand it.

Re: [AN1x-list] help

2000-12-07 by Erkki Männikkö

Morphing is the key if you want to make unique sounds.
Each voice has two scenes.
Just press simultaneously two buttons next to volume knob.
Then morph the sound with the modulation wheel.
You can also load scenes from other voices.
While pressing either scene button enter a number 1...128 and there you go.

Ihanaa Erkki !!
