The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

I noticed the other day that our AN1x Mailing List membership has 
broken the 300+ subscribers milestone. I'd like to take a moment to 
welcome all the recent subscibers. Hello!

Here are some links you may want to keep on hand. The Files section
has plenty of free Mac & Win Software, some Cakewalk utils, 
Documentation and of course tons of free Voices ht

AN1x-list There are a few open polls most all the time - feel free to 
post your vote.

There's not too much traffic on the list so threads don't get 
overlooked ;-) OT threads are not uncommon, spam emails are _heavily_ 
_discouraged_, and attachments are prohibited altogether. Other than 
that, there are no "formal" guidelines. Happy programming!

hello all

i'm one of the new subscribers, having done so last week.
i've been using my an1x for about three years now,
and while it's not the centre of my studio(my mac and k2000
are) i've always been happy with it.
do any of you guys use the an1x as a specialist machine? that is
just for bass or just for pads etc...?

I use my AN1x for strings, pads, polysynth (i.e. synth comp) and sometimes
leads. I have used it for bass, and it makes some pretty wikkid awesome
bass sounds some of the time, but its strengths are what I use it for.
