Monthly patch submission

Monthly patch submission

2000-04-12 by Jerry A

Dear listers:

I finally got off my butt and submitted four pad patches. They were
all created using Genetix to get some rough ideas and then cleaned up
in an1xedit.

Genetix created some odd modulation and controller routing. Also the
effects appear to go to 'unacceptable' values. Anybody else run into
this? Still the tool is brilliant. Thank you, whoever who created
this.

The patches are as follows:

1) Lushlife - your typical warm analog pad. Mod wheel changes the
timbre in a subtle way.
2)Dulcet- Sweet pad with a doubled high voice - nice for playing
chords with a hint of melody, almost like a pipe organ. Mod wheel
adds a pulsing filter. My personal favorite.
3) Pipsqueak - welocity sensitive pad with a kind of "squeaky meow"
effect.
4)Shimmer - supposed to sound like the early digital shimmery pads.
Velocity sensitive.

This is my first time uploading any patches. Hope you like them.

Jerry

PS: Is there some specific day of each month we are doing this patch
sharing? I liked it so much I want to make sure its in my personal
schedule.

RE: [AN1x-list] Monthly patch submission

Hi,

Genetix is say a little raw for the moment. I am planing an update to
fix the errors in the effects section when I receive the new file format.
I should do something for the modulation matrix and smooth the
free EG curves. I will add an experimental tool for the sequencer
section as well.

Cheers,
Charles-Emmanuel
