The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

Does anyone know anywhere i could get some An1x patches that sound
like the oberheim ob8 ? I specifically need something which sounds
like the start of that van halen song "why cant this be love".

Any help owuld be most appreciated.

Hee hee. :)

For Earthbulb, I have the infamous VH "Jump" sound on my patch set, so all
you need to do is tweak it, maybe soften the attack a bit and there you go.
Almost all the synth sounds in the 5150 era are just variations on the
"Jump" sound, layered with a piano.
