Does the Yamaha AN1x transmit CC messages to a sequencer?
Say i want to slowly increase the volume at any time,
if i press the white VCA button and then while i play start twiddlin'
the 6th (Volume) knob, will it record that im my sequence?

That depends. Your AN1x can be in two modes: mode 1 and mode 2 (OK, I could
have thought of that). In mode 1, it transmits the normal, MIDI compliant
messages. In mode 2 however, it transmits all parameters. You can find that
in your data list and somewhere in the back of your manual. (I don't know
exactly where you could find it and I don't know where I left my manual.)

You can switch modes by holding a certain key while switching on the AN1x.
As you might have guessed, I also don't know what key that is, but again
this is somewhere in the manual.

Hi Joel,

You can change controlmodes,mode 1->official midistandard,mode 2-> special
list.
For the control change parameter settings see the separate datalist book p.9 .
For "volume" ctrl.7 it makes no difference.
Changing between modes : power up,with <assign> pressed.See manual p.96.
Either "mode 1" or "mode 2" will appear in the LCD display(I have never
seen it).

But the problem is that the way the white volumeknob works depends on the
type of
voice,single is oke',dual,.. etc ??,you have to try it out.But the synth sends
always midivolume data to the sequencer.
