Indeed you have a nice very nice setup. I am looking by next year
into an EA-1 as well (and throw out ReBirth...sounds too static).
Have you hooked the EA1 to the Distortion Pedal or for what else are
you using it?

It's natural to talk about gear envy or gear regret, but in reality, no matter
who you are, and no matter how much money you make, two things will always ring true:

1. There will ALWAYS be people out there who have more gear than you do.

2. There will ALWAYS be people out there who have less gear than you do.

The thing I like about gear lists is finding others who have similar (Non AN1x)
gear as I have. And I encourage others to find that too. It's a great idea to
hook up with them and trade tips, ideas, patches, samples, etc. (All done off
the list and via private email, of course!) You might even find ways to trade
midi files back and forth and collaborate on material using common gear.

You can make a nice little self-contained electronic orchestra with an AN1x, an
ER-1 and an EA-1.
The ER-1 provides the beats, the EA-1 does the basslines and bleeps and the AN1x
can do the pads and leads live, or sync em all together and arpeggiate. You've
also got three sets of knobs to twiddle with!

Throw in the ES-1 sampler and no one can stop you!

I would love to have a EA-1...it would be a nice companion to the AN an
TX16W.
BTW, your PC is better than mine, I don't have a mixer, etc......(lol)...

We're toghether pal...btw, we like the same music too...
We are a couple of RIVETMEGANOTHINGs...:-)

In fact I must pray a little to ask God to drop the gear prices her in
Brazil...or put my AN1x on the street corners to get some money letting
others to spank it a little too..(lol)...

The EA-1 is really cool.....but really to tell you the truth, i just use it
as an effects processor, and some basslines every once in a while....i could
do so much more with it, but i'm not really willing to put that much time
into it *shrugs*

" your PC is better than mine, I don't have a mixer, etc......(lol)..."

hehe sorry dude.....i just got the mixer tho :-) hehe

"We're toghether pal...btw, we like the same music too...

yep, and like true industrial we must take our "non-gear having" arses and
make original innovative tracks :-) althought htats all the gear i have i'll
do some pretty funked up stuff with that alot of people wouldnt really think
of.....

i'm not a musician, i'm a sound artist, the day i stop making (anti)music is
the day i don't have anymore tricks up my sleeve :-)

"Have you hooked the EA1 to the Distortion Pedal or for what else are
you using it?"

yeah, its pretty cool, i havent used it in anything yet......i used the pedal
for my vocals, and every once in a while i'll use another piece of gear with
it.....when i did that improv projekt with my friend (end.user.) we used the
DOD DeathMD on ER-1's and a crappy boss drum machine with an EXELLENT
outcome.....

oh and guys....ummm, let me take a moment to make an offtopic PSA:

I just had a little scare with my "guys down there" i would just like to
remind everyone to do a routine testicle check at least once a month...i did
mine and got to the doctor in time, luckily it's just Bilateral Hydrocele
(AKA water on the nut) and can be taken care of fairly simply :-) I don't
want any fellow AN1x'ers having cancer go unnoticed...just looking out for my
bruthas (sista's not excluded you should be checking your breasts)...

thank you all, and good night,
ash

I'm not so sure if the ES-1 worth its price...you can buy an AKAI S2000 for
only 100 bucks more.

Uuh that sounds interesting, i think i´ll go and check if i can find
one of those pedals. Does it matter which one i take? Or is every
distortion pedal the same (basically)?

Well, every pedal will sound different, but it doesnt really matter, as long
as it's not really crappy and everything runs together, and you prolly wanna
get something with a 3 band EQ....

HOLY CRAP! I'll sell you mine for wayyyy, less than that! Shipping and
handling wouldn't be that bad for this thing, it's only about 3lbs...

If you want to get rid of I should get, but I have to pay the "rest" of my
AN first, but how much do you want??..:-)
