I think I recall the single "Eidelweiss - Bring me Eidelweiss" was done exactly by the Manual.

LOL...oh gosh, i remember that song...one-hit-wonder, but not number
one. I guess the Manual is just good entertaining. Or can you explain
the success of B.Spears, Hansons, David Hasselhoff (yes Germans love
him...go figure) or Aaron Carter?

As a totally offtopic thing I was once signed to Norske Gram (record label in Norway) and we did this marvelous tranceanthem and we named it "Aaron Carter" and we had a poster of him on one of the synths when we performed that track live. To bad the label was totally without humor and had licensing in Norway for poor little Aaron... They didn't appreciate it to speak mildly.

this freaky movie?
