Setting up AN1xEdit

Setting up AN1xEdit

2014-10-14 by kellytmoney@...

Believe it or not, I've had my AN1x for over 15 years and I've never used the editor, I just downloaded it now.

Its installed and running on Win 8.1 and it sees my MIDI In and Outs, but from there I don't know how to get it talking to the AN1x. I don't see a MIDI channel selector in the program.

I haven't seen any instructions for the editor so I don't even know if its supposed to talk to the synth. If not, then what are you folks using?

Thanks,

Kelly

You can choose the midi channels, in setup - midi port setup menu.
An1x edit is especially useful to setup the free EG.

Cheers,
Denis

Just start AN1X Edit, in the top menu, click the setup item, then click the Midi Port Setup item.
This will open a small dialog where you can select the Midi in and midi out port.
Just select the entry corresponding to the midi interface connected to your AN1X for both midi in and midi out and you should be good to go.
