16 more patches posted

I posted 16 more patches in the PLG150AN voices folder. They are patches 27-42 in my Bank 2 zip file. (For some reason, when I tried to delete my old bank 2 file, it appeared at the bottom of the groups file section and will not delete. Just ignore it). Patches 1-25 are the same ones originally posted 3-12-2011. I understand a .ANS file can be converted to a .an1 file and loaded into an an1x using an1x edit. I use the PLG editor so I can't convert the bank to .an1.  The new patches include "AN The Run". My previous attempt of On the Run was not very good. This is MUCH better (see the read me file in the zipped folder for details).  Also "Cars Sweep", the intro to "Moving in Stereo". And "Close One!", a copy of an Alesis Ion preset  (lightning strike/thunder). There are also a few leads, a couple pads, and misc other sounds.

Hi, it would be great to have the patches converted in .AN1 format and uploaded here for AN200 players like me. Someone can do it?

Otherwise we can't convert them in any way, thanks!

Hi,

A registered copy of an.factory (www.xfactory-librarians.co.uk) can convert between all of the varias AN1x, PLG150-AN and AN200 file formats

It will also do on the fly conversion before sending data to the synth in question.

So there is a way. :-)

Cheers
Derek

I converted my PLG banks to .an1 (using an1x editor). You will find them in the an1x voices folder.  I  had an1x edit on my old computer, and just installed it on my current computer. I see  some advantages of  using an1x edit (in PLG150AN mode), but I think I prefer the PLG stand alone editor. Some of  my PLG patches will not sound correct on an1x because of the differences between an1x and PLG150AN. Most of my patches have various parameters assigned to A.C. knobs. You may need to go into the control matrix and reassign the control sources. I find it odd that the AN200 editor can't load a .ANS file, since the AN200 has a PLG150AN card inside it..

Hi, you're right, I made a mistake about AN200 file loading; .ANS can be loaded of course!

Thank you for your presets. Dan
