AN1x "Tempo Delay" causes popping and clicking...?

Hi there. I have my AN1x connected via MIDI to my Korg M3(which is the master).I have been noticing a loud clicking and popping coming from the AN1x when I play a chord and leave it sustained with the sustain pedal.The popping disappeared when I set the AN1x clock to anything but "Tempo" (which is the external clock setting), and I noticed the popping seemed to have a delay effect on it...so I played around with the delay effect settings, and the only delay that had the clicking and popping was "Tempo sync Delay". So I can work-around the problem by using other delays, but would ideally like to use the Tempo Delay for live jamming. Anyone out there know of a fix for this??
