The manual for the AN1X doesn't state that the LFO isn't tempo sync able. I can't find it anywhere either, is this possible? If not has anyone come up with a work around? Sent from my iPhone

The LFO doesn't sync to tempo. There is a list in the AN1x archives here that translates the LFO rate numbers that Yamaha uses to BPMs Jim

You're in luck (sort of). The AN1x does not allow you to tempo sync your LFO, but there is definitely a work around, but requires a bit of work. I have a PDF that gives you a table of the LFO numerical values to Hertz. From there, you can convert Hertz to BPM. LINK FOR HZ TO BPM: http://www.convertworld.com/en/frequency/Beats+per+minute.html Additionally, if you don't have a computer near by, you can use the formula of BPM/60 = HZ (quarter notes) BPM/30 = HZ (eighth notes) I'll upload the PDF ASAP. I'm sorry but this doesn't mean anything to me, 60hz is a quarter note but at what tempo? And that link you sent me only confuses me more. I'm sorry to sound stupid but it doesn't make much sense to a musician like me Sent from my iPhone On Feb 13, 2013, at 7:55 AM, "ryryoftokyo" <ryryoftokyo@gmail.com> wrote: > You're in luck (sort of). Do you know the title/thread of the relevant message? On this subject, I would also hugely appreciate to know whether other parameter ranges of the AN1x have been converted to real-world figures (amplitudes, durations, etc.), as that would help enormously with emulation of patches from other synths that operate on measured values rather than always 0-127. Thanks. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
