AN1x editor for mac

Hi,

I was wondering whether there is a Anx1 editor for macs. I am running on snow leopard. Any help would be great.

Thanks,

Hi,

I don't do an AN1x Editor (yet), but an.factory is a cross platform librarian for arranging patches between files and a library. My Mac support is a few years old, but I've just brought a new Mac and am working on getting it working on OSX Lion. Until then there's a minor issue in that the JavaApplicationStub used to launch the Java app is a PPC binary, so will work on Snow Leopard if you have Rosetta installed. If Rosetta is not installed, and assuming you don't want it, then if you wait a week or so, I'll have a new installer that sorts the issue, or if you can't wait, download the latest version and ask and I'll email you a new application stub for manual installation

Check it out on www.xfactory-librarians.co.uk

Cheers
Derek

You can run your AN1x edit through a Windows emulator , this kind of
software (synth editor) does not requires huge system ressources. A
possible issue would be, perhaps, the handling of MIDI interfaces by the
W. emulator.
Hope that it helps
Cheers.

Hi,

I'm using VMware Fusion for running Windows XP virtual machine on Lion.
Because VMware Fusion supports USB devices,
It's easy to connect between Windows XP virtual machine and AN1x using a USB-MIDI adaptor.
AN1xEdit application runs fine with this configuration.

Thanks,

miyarisan

** VMware Fusion only supports Intel-Macs
