I mostly use the AN1X as a controller, for soft synths (string studio has some bizarre sounds) at home and for my ancient emu vintage keys at jams/gigs. The AN1X is capable of some bizarre raucous sounds so I don't plan to get rid of it. At some point, if I ever get flush, I'll probably get a rompler (want to try a Casio wk7500) and a DSI mopho. I'm sure the new VAs sound great, but I need at least 61 keys.
