Hi everybody, i would like to show you the method for getting free user patches for our beloved AN200 & AN1X synths.

What we need is some friends in this group who would convert some AN1X patches for us, in a way that is FREE.

Here's what to do:

1) into FILES section there's a folder called "01 AN1X midi patches to convert" full of AN1X free patches in midi bulk dump format (not compatible with AN200).

We need now some friends in this group to convert these files into .AN1 or .AN2 format which can be sent into AN200.

2) now these converted files can be uploaded into the folder in files section called "02 AN1X midi patches converted"!

So the second folder for AN200 users is empty, i hope to find it full of converded patches for the group!

The last version is fully compatible with AN200 as well. Personally I did some beta tasting for him on my AN200, and I can tell you that the app has always been very useful, but the new version is simply great!

the title of the discussion is 'FREE patches exchange for AN1x > AN200', because i think the sense of a yahoo page like that is to share each other tips and patches for our beloved synths.

i started the discussion posting a lot of patches for AN1x users (in the first folder of files section), so anybody can go and download it free.

i just ask to someone to convert these patches in .an1 or .an2 format in order to share that patches with all the AN200 users of that page.

my midi i/o to be able to help, but when I do any patches I've made will be
up for grabs.

Ehy guys, after a while we finally have the first group of patches converted from AN1x to AN200!!!

We must say thanks to Paul who converted the sounds!

So go to the files section in the folder: "02 AN1X midi patches converted" and download a HUGE new palette of sounds for our AN200!

the patches for AN200 are .an1 and .an2 files which can be loaded into AN1X synth as usual with xgworks.

correct me if i'm wrong because i'm an AN200 player.

dumb thing: i have no idea of how to load those patches into my AN200...what's the real software to use to do it? i read many users complain about different softs, so what is the real one?

If it's working, don't try and 'fix' it. So, most likely, no.
