The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

Good day AN1x'rs I was just wondering if anyone knows of a suitable LCD replacement for the AN1x. Mine still works fine but the back light is getting a little dim and i know of no way to adjust the contrast to make it easier to read, any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

On a side note recently i had to reduce the size of my studio down to 3 keyboards because of space issues. I had quite a few synths and had to make some tough choices as to which would stay and which would go. I had the AN1x of course a Alesis Fusion 6HD , Prophet 600 , Korg DSS1 , SCI SixTrak , Roland JX-305 , Korg Poly 61 , Korg M1 , Kurzweil K2500s and a Fatar Studio 900 88 key controller. After long consideration I feel i made the right choice, 

I kept my AN1x above all the others as well as my Korg DSS1 and the Fatar Studio 900 and will be adding a Yamaha Motif ES or a Fantom XS rack to replace the type of sounds i lost giving up the Fusion and K2500s. Cheers hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday.

Id also like to know the answer to this... having just got one of these beasties....

it would be nice to have a brighter display or even replace the display...
