gear lust XL

Re: [AN1x] gear lust XL

I saw that yesterday. the problem with these machines is there's nowhere to
PLAY before you buy. I'd love to get one, but for the price of a car, I wish
there was somewhere I could test drive one. At least I can afford not to
like my AN1X after a few years...

GC (guitar center) in LA area might get one or two. There are other music
stores that pickup these
fine instruments too (LA). However, if you never touched one or played with
it, I suggest you do before you buy.
I also attend the Winter NAMM show out here just to get my hands on synths
that might never be seen
in this area.

Hi Jimmy !
someone on this forum was planning to build a wooden cabinet for his
AN1x.... i don't remember who.... If he has achieved his project some
plans and drawings would be nice. $5000 for a Moog, OK it's a nice
instrument but only mono.
Glad to read you again
Cheers.

Guitar Center Hollywood is the one most likely to have something like they
and they don't.

Last time i was down there they had a Minimoog, tho.

at my local guitar center (eastern pa - lehigh valley) they rarely have
anything of note, though the one time i was there they did have a minimoog
and I didn't appreciate it at the time. I would have spent all afternoon in
there if I did.....
