The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

Here's my setup:
AN1X (2 of them :) keyboard controllers+ Logic 9 on Mac Pro.
I am desperately trying to trigger sequences off my AN1Xs to slave other soft synths on my Loic sequencer:
I set the AN1X tempo to MIDI, turn Seq mode to ON, Midi Ptn Tx Ch to 1 as well as MIDI Tx Ch to 1 and I get .... nothing.
The only time I get it to trigger the sequences is when I turn the AN1X's local mode to "ON" (but then I have to turn down the volume on the AN1X :(
Anyone can figure out where the problem is??

BTW, Ive had these babies for years and are the only hardware keyboards Ive kept, they are amazing!!

I have the an200. what I do is, mute the tracks I don't want. that way I don't have to turn down the vol. and It when... only reads the track that's not muted. But if it is muted you can still trigger other sound sources
.

thats not a 'problem' that's how it works. Local off is for operating the
AN1X remotely, not using it as a controller.

I just dont understand why is it that the AN1X can't behave as a controller synced in to my logic and omit midi sequences/arpegio notes when it's local is set to off??
