Heya,

Been lurking on the list for a while now, time to throw a question into the
mix.

I'm using a pair of PLG150ANs in an S90ES, very happy with the combo, but
using the Windows based editor is a nuisance to put it mildly.

I'm thinking of getting a control surface/knob controller and am wondering
what people favour for controlling the 150's (or an AN1x I guess for that
matter). Would use this over MIDI direct into the S90ES - ie not have a
computer in the loop.

Any thoughts/suggestions most welcome!

I have the An200 (basically the PLG card in a box) and use one of the novation remote sl's to control the 'hidden' parameters not available from the front panel. *IF* the plg cards work the same way (where a number of editable parameters are accessed through sysex as opposed to CC #'s) I would suggest the novations since you can program it to send the needed sysex messages. I think the behringer knobby box may be able to do this as well? If I understand correctly, not a lot of the modern day 'controllers' have that sysex functionality.
