replacement power adaptor

Has anyone used a PA 130 as a replacement power adaptor for the AN1x? It's supposed to be a replacement for the PA3B but I don't want to take any chances.

Power outputs match....12V at 1A. There is no reason why it should not work. I use several PA130 style 12V adapters to replace the original supplies on my other synths....
The adapters look different because the original was a step down transformer based design and the PA130 is a switching power supply based design....

12V DC, so polarity of the plug is important. The + on YamahaUnits is the
inner contact. Some PSUs are polarityswitchable.

This is a good thread for me. The adapter which came with my synth seems
to be under rated for the job. I didn't find the current requirements in
the AN1x manual. Perhaps I didn't look hard enough.

The P.S.U. ratings are not in the manual but on the P.S.U. itself...
They only say "use the Yamaha supply ref. so and so", as for the pedals.
For me it's not shocking, after all they sell these as replacement parts
or accessories... From their point of view that's perfectly logic; from
mine it is logic to look at cheaper solutions with aftermarket parts. ;-)
IMHO the 700 mA rating of the stock Yamaha supply are just enough : if
you find a 800 mA or even 1 A (always with ~12 V DC), take it.
