[AN200] question on sequencing chords

[AN200] question on sequencing chords

2009-12-15 by jonathan_01uk

Hi group

Newbie with an AN200.

I know I can play chords on an AN200 via a midi keyboard but is there any way I can sequence chords using the internal AN200 sequencer?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Jonathan

The answer is no, internal sequences are single notes only.

OK, thought that might be the case.

Thanks :)

You may be able to generate 'chord-like' like tones with the rhythm track + synth track, e.g. the root chord (bass) on a rhythm track 1, a 3rd on rhythm track 2 (same voice), and a 5th on rhythm track 3. Then use the synth track (different voice) at another note in the triad.

Not sure how flexible the rhythm tracks are for this purpose.

Cheers,
Mike
