firmware and OS upgrade

Hallo here is mark from Italy....how can I check what version of OS is 
in my An1x...and then how can upgrate to the last version?
and so...what thje last version of OS? :)

1. 	Turn OFF the power.
2.	Press and hold the [0], [-] and [+] buttons down simultaneously  
while turning ON the power.

The OS is on EPROM. I don't think Yamaha even supplies it any more.  
All but the earliest AN1x models have 1.0.3 or 1.0.4 - all that is  
fixed between those two versions is the erroneous "low voltage"  
battery warning that can crop up now and then. Otherwise they are  
identical.

Ok thanx i have a 1.0.1 version where can I download the 1.0.3 / 
1.0.4 software? and then how can I upload my system?

You can't. The software is stored in a microchip and you would need a 
new chip.

But as mentioned, you don't get any new features or anything. Unless you 
have problems with your AN1x, it's not worth upgrading.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
