The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

Hi,

On this forum I was recommended to use contact cleaner to clean the 
inside of the knobs and buttons because I am having problems with my 
AN1x.
After a painful shop search today I managed to only get switch cleaner 
instead of contact cleaner. My concern is what is the difference and 
is switch cleaner any use?

Please advise

I thought you were going to upload an example of the problem Voice(s) you felt were at 
issue?

Hello Arthur !
if your cleaner is made for electronic use it will work . Have a look at 
the warnings and directions for use on the canister back (harmful 
vapors, and things like that ) . Don't drown your whole pot with 
cleaner, but some drops inside could not be enough ....
