fuzz organ

I took one of my more distorted single osc lead patches, swithed it
from legato to poly and presto instant punk organ. Great fun. Very rude.

I'd guess the biggest part of the fuzz you're hearing comes from the
Edge control. Most of my combo organ sounds are high cutoff and high
edge.

OSX or classic success with An1xedit?

2006-07-31 by Jesse Buehler

Haven't used it in a while, but I want to start using my An1x again. Does
it work in classic? (My interface is a Midisport 2x2)

Or, is there an OSX solution?

Thanks

Jesse

I've run AN1xEdit under Classic along with OMS 2.3.8 within OS X
10.3.9 (Panther) on a G5 using an Emagic MT4 and it works perfectly.
Your MIDIMAN MIDI Interface has a driver that is supported in OMS -
you can install under Classic, configure an OMS Set-up, run AN1xEdit
under Classic and the hardware (MIDI Interface) will be recognized.

Apple made some API change in the update from Jaguar to Panther
which allows this to work where as it did not under Jaguar and
earlier OS X release levels. I've not tried this under Tiger, but I
don't see why it wouldn't work. I hope to upgrade to Tiger soonish.

Of course this will not work on the new Mactel machines as Classic
is not supported on these new machines.

Jon
