Converting AN1x patches to PLG 150AN

Converting AN1x patches to PLG 150AN

2006-02-16 by Stephen Teller

Hi,

Sorry if this has been covered before but is there a way to take the
patches from my AN1/x and convert them to a format that can be loaded
into a Yamaha S90 ES with a PLG card?

thanks
Stephen Teller

Yes, you can use AN1xEdit - you can select PLG150-AN mode from the Setup menu which
will allow you to dump to your PLG150-AN. AN1xEdit will open .AN1 and .ANP files. Also,
it will open .ANS (from XGWorks), but it doesn't work well in the Mac version - works okay
in Win I'm told.

The AN Expert Editor can open .an1 files (AN1x format) and then save them as .ans
files (editor native format) and download these to the PLG board.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
