I know that the Foot Pedal can be used to stop/start the Arp/Seq when the AN1x is in mode 2, but I don't think you can alternate between the two modes using the foot pedal. I would suggest one of two approaches. 1) Store duplicate Voices in consecutive programs numbers - one with the Arp and the other with the Seq selected. I think you can program one of the two the foot pedals to increment program changes. 2) find yourself a remote MIDI Controller to transmit the SysEx string necessary to alternate bewtween the two modes.
