I use midi-ox for most of this now, the altering, filtering and routing. I do have some synthedit items but seldom used unless I am doing some special. Like in P5, you either use the RGC pluging to get midi out or something else like those synthedit items, getting midi in is ok, it's the out that requires something special. (stupid marketing item as they did not want it like sonar with overheard etc.... <eyes rolling>) Only breath controller I got here is a Casio DH100 that I use for my wind mimicking. Works well enough for me as I will edit the results anyway, not being a wind instrument player, just want that sound with some expression. Someday, when someother synth or device does not catch my eye, I plan on something like you have. Even my S-80 could use it as it has a breath in direct. I also use a expression pedal as well sometimes. I have even toyed with drum pads for the sharp attacks. Do let me know how you finally work it out, here or email. dale dale@... Yup... I'd mostly be playing the AN200 live, though I'd be recording sequences sometimes "live" as well... As long as I can route some external controllers (like breath -which I can patch with the MIDIsolutions box) to the control the EG cutoff or other parameters of the AN200.. then I should be able to gain a good bit of expression with the WX5.
