Most astounding I find: the features list of Roland, Clavia and others is much longer BUT...! Thanks for all your hints and links and I promise I will report on my progress. Tom Hi Tom! That\ufffds the modelling. Old, but obviously the best :-) Not comparable to big analog sysnths, but at least the same modelling. DCO\ufffds can also charm, like the mighty DSS-1, with 12bit sampling and 256KB RAM :-) I tried a lot, (need Organ and Electric Piano) but the old 12bitter is doing the best, except my Organ. Even the E-mu E5000 Ultra, I have too, cannot compare in Organsounds with the DSS-1. The VCF section on this old machine is getting very near to bigger modular synths. Like, vour voices placed in the Stereospectrum - amazing for a keyboard. The An1-X is a nice machine. Good for Bass, Percussion, Lead etc. (although the DSS-1 with DCO is probably better for Leads) I wish you much fun with your AN1-x. Best Regards, Daniel Mandic
