The ppg Wave2 VST is great.
It's the first softsynth I know, that is worth to
be recognized as an "Instrument".
Maybe because wavetable synthesis fits to a PC
intsrument. Maybe the Waldorfers did it.
but anyway, you can do some 80th sounds with this
machine wich are difficult to with other synth's
the filter is amazing (a...mhm......."silver"
sound). VST integration is perfect and it's more CPU friendly than I
thought.
You can use 8 sounds on 8 channels by starting one
instrument.
If you work with sequenzers check it
out!

especially if you love *that* sound... it's not all that expensive either...
and it shares the mix well with the An1x.... see I stayed on topic =)
