I'm on a Dual G5 1.8 GHz machine - so it is all pure classic, no OS 9 booting possible. I did restart classic after installing OMS (in fact I think the installer insisted on doing it for me). Otherwise I'm using the same set-up you are: 10.3.5 with 9.2.2 and the 3.0.8 midisport drivers. I did discover the little AN1xEdit "bug" you mentioned (by accident) since I was just playing around (also worth a mention in the FAQ!). I've not yet tried to download many voices - but this was always problematic for me even under (native) OS 9 with AN1xEdit (at the time I was using an Audiophile 2496 PCI card.
