The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

hey guys, i just got a an1x about a week ago and i have two questions 
actually. first of all how can i get the patches i have downloaded 
into the synth? and is there a way to preview individual patches 
before i dump them in. i have both sonar and cubase but have never 
really used them for midi purposes. i am somewhat of a dolt when it 
comes to midi at this point in my life. i'm trying to learn though. i 
have been an acoustic bass player for most of my life so learning the 
electronic side of things for me has been kind of interesting. my 
other  question regards the mod wheel. i am having trouble 
programming it when i program new sounds. it seems like it is always 
stuck on this horrible vibratoesque kind of sound. and it's not cool 
rhodes vibrato either. anyway any help i could get regarding these 
things would be awesome. and thus far i love my new synth. -tommy
