Hello Fellow AN1X'ers!

  I am a newbie to the list so first off, greetings and salutations.  
With that said I am hoping someone out here can help me with my 
problem so I can start using AN1X edit to get more out of my favorite 
synth.  

There are actually several problems I am having and I have a feeling 
they are all related.  Basically the communication between the synth 
and the software is there but something is not setup correctly cause 
it does not work as I would expect it to.

Example 1:
  I open an .an1 file in the editor and select a patch that looks 
interesting and hit the send button, the synth says "received" but 
when hitting the keys on the keyboard I get no sound?  The patch name 
appears but no sound?

Example 2:
  I double click a patch file or try to dump an entire program to the 
synth and the synths display reads "SysExSize Error".  The AN1X 
manual says to verify the size?  I get this error a lot when doing 
various things in the editor...

  As I said before I'm almost sure these symptoms are related to my 
not having some parameter set correctly if anyone has any ideas 
please reply.
