I needed a SCSI controller anyway for my sampler, so i thought i'd go
all-SCSI then, because a secondhand UW SCSI harddrive is almost as
cheap as the equivalent in IDE or U-ATA or whatever.
And the advantages like multi reading and writing is definately a
bonus for audio.. I just preferred SCSI over IDE, seemed like less
chance of possible screw-ups lateron. (kindof like a guarantee)
Now that i kindof know how to make the bootup work (with some help)
It's just as easy as IDE ... the only thing that's really different
is
that it's not 'the standard' ... So less support, as i've
encountered... But it worked out anyway i guess, sortof...
