I had similar problems.. not all boards support
bootable SCSI CD rom drives. Technically you should be able to boot from
the win98 disk. I ended up buying a $50 IDE CDROM for booting from... I
would suggest the same.. or you'll have to manually create a bootable floppy
thats loads the ASPI drivers for your SCSI card and the CDROM driver.. then
setup from the scsi drive..

Are there any "generic" SCSI devicedrivers that i could put on a
