The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

Hi all,
 
Been a lurker for a while, but it is time to post. 
 
I am a guitarist, but recently decided to explore a long time fasination
with synths...thus, the AN1x. 
 
I want to thank all for the really great patch postings...it has been quite
fun to check them out and it really helps me learn how to put sounds
together. 
 
I recently saw Yes on their MasterWorks tour. If you have a chance, I
strongly recomment seeing them. They play great tunes from the "Yes Album"
thru "Going for the One" period, including Close to the Edge and part of
Tales from Topograhic Oceans. Igor Khorchev is a great keyboard player and
among his rig are two (yes 2!) AN1x's. There was a great analog filter sound
going and the AN1x's were actually used on some of my favorite parts.
 
Again, my thanks to those who make up this list and create patches...I hope
to add my own soon,
