Just load those files in your sequencer and play them back.

Normally any sequencer (hardware or software) should be able to do this. A
nice-to-have tool, which also does the trick, is Midiox. (www.midiox.com)

the .an1 files are easy, i use an1x edit..
but what i do with files in the .mid format? bulk data i guess..
i don't have cubase here, is there any other (freeware/shareware) tool?
